Pure Scarlet Review November 2024

There are ten steps before you can successfully sign up for Pure Scarlet. It may sound overwhelming, yet, it is not. The questions are just not displayed on one page. You are required to answer the current question before you can move on to the next. 

Here are the ten information or steps that you have to accomplish upon registration:

• Provide your valid email address.
• Choose your gender. You can choose from the set of options: male, female, and couple (for the straight people), among 30 other genders listed on the drop-down menu.
• Declare your sexuality and choose one from the choices: straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, demisexuality, grey-asexuality, pansexual, or queer.
• Enter your age.
• Secure your account with a password.
• Verify email by clicking on the link sent to your inbox.
• Provide your first name (or screen name).
• Adjust your account notifications, messages, tips and alerts subscriptions.
• Add your interests.
• Send Flirt Messages. (You can skip this part and do it later.)

Users using proxy connections like VPN can easily be detected. Your registration wouldn't push through if the site recognizes any suspicious connection or activity.

Messages

There are four different types of messages and alerts that you can send or receive.

• Hot Messages (Flame Icon)- A member will receive a message once another member clicks on the "Hot" button which can be found on your profile or profile summary on the search results.
• Flirt Messages (Lips Icon)- A member can send a flirt message upon registration (it can also be skipped).This message will be composed by the member and will be delivered to other members who match the sender's interests and settings.
• Direct Message (Speech Bubble)- A personalized message intentionally sent to another member.
• Match Alert (Heart Icon)- A message received when the site has found you a match based on your location and interests.

You can delete messages from other members and the ones that you've sent. However, your conversation will remain on the other person's inbox. After 30 days, the database and cache will be cleared. On the other hand, chats are deleted after one hour upon receipt or one hour after the last message was sent.

Message & Email Alerts
Whenever you receive a new message or alert on your profile, the site will automatically send you an email to remind you to check it. If you turn your notifications on, you will also receive updates and tips from Pure Scarlet.

Scam Messages

The site warns its users to be careful when interacting with other members. It also reminds its members that no staff or representative of the company will use the messages within the site to communicate personally. Only official emails should be entertained. Members asking you for donations, cash, or anything in kind should be ignored or reported.

Reporting and Blocking

If you felt uncomfortable about how another member messaged or treated you, you have the option to report or block them. The options can be found on the chat and profile pages. However, it only stays for 90 days.

Pure Scarlet doesn't require its members to answer specific questions to be displayed on their profiles. However, there is a part where members can type down a narrative describing him or herself. It's very important not to include any of your contact information because once it was detected that you violated the rule, you will not be allowed to post anything on your biography box anymore.

Display three or more of your interests from the following choices— serious or casual relationship, affairs, friendship, swinging and groups, public display, toy, anal, bondage, oral, cybersex, voyeurism, and exhibitionism. 

You can upload up to nine photos, and you can choose your primary profile picture. Nude and over-sexualized images are not accepted since Pure Scarlet need to follow the policies of its partner companies. Monitored photos which violate the rules are automatically taken down by the site moderators.
