DateHookUp's profile creation system is limited. Aside from the information users provide during the registration process, the only thing that users can add to that is a biography of themselves. Members go by their usernames instead of their first and last names to keep them safe.
Your profile has a single text box that acts as a biography where you can put details about yourself. Users are encouraged to describe themselves, what makes them unique, what they're looking for in other people. The text box doesn't have a limit, so users can get creative and write whatever they want, as long as it doesn't contain personal contact information or other identifiers.
The only pieces of information that give you insight about other members of the platform are the mandatory fields they needed to fill out during registration, plus the biography. That isn't a lot to go on, especially with the biography being optional. Fake profiles also run rampant on the website, and it seems like the site's admin isn't interested in doing anything about them. According to users on the forum, the photo feature has been broken for quite some time now. Many reports have been made but until now, the website still hasn't fixed the issue.
